Delta merge activities are tracked in table MDELTAMERGESTATISTICS and its history in HOSTDELTAMERGESTATISTICS. See SAP Note 2088971 for details how to configure the amount of data available in monitoring view MDELTAMERGESTATISTICS. You can use SQL: 'HANATablesColumnStoreMerges' (SAP Note 1969700) to retrieve information. It provides information like execution time, merge type, table name, merge duration, number of rows merged and merge errors. How about using the new (and mind boggling difficult to use) spspaceusage system proc (note, 'usage' not 'used'). I find it really hard to use because the parameters are variable (you need to specify different kinds of parameters depending on earlier parameters in the parameter list and they don't use intelligent defaults) and they're not fully defined in the help pages. Open transaction code DB20. Put in the table name and refresh (update info). This will shows the current statistics update. Choose create to create a new statistics for the inserted table. ST03 SAP tcode for – Workload and Performance Statistics. 4. This page is the main options for update statistic. Type ‘c’ to continue. (or select 11, to update a specific table)

6. This step is to check the statistics. Type ‘c’ to continue.

7. Type ‘c’ to proceed with the statistics. Please wait a moment untill the statistics update is done.

Symptom

In the CheckDB job log there are tables/indexes partitions with missing statistics, as example below:
